So we all know that a proper noun, such as a place name, is written with upper case:
✅ Murray Street
But, when two or more are written together, the generic word should be in lower case:
✅ Murray and Davey streets
Apply this to streets, mountains, rivers, bridges, councils, valleys…
Here’s one that’s very common:
✅ Australian Government
✅ Tasmanian Government
✅ Australian and Tasmanian governments.
And one more for luck:
✅ Both the Huon and Tamar valleys have excellent wineries.
